Urban Renewal in Sakae, Nagoya
The Landmark Nagoya Sakae, reflected in the entrance glass of the Chūnichi Building, is set to become a new symbol of the Sakae area.
For many years, the Sakae district in Nagoya remained largely unchanged, holding on to its Showa-era atmosphere. But now, a new era is arriving.
In recent years, major redevelopment projects such as Hisaya-Ōdōri Park, the Chūnichi Building, and The Landmark Nagoya Sakae have been transforming the area. Additionally, new buildings are under construction on the former sites of the Noritake Building and Kajima Construction Building.

🏗 Redevelopment Continues
Nagoya’s central entertainment district, Sakae, is undergoing a remarkable transformation after decades of relative stagnation. Construction of the Sakae Trid Square Building is steadily progressing on the former sites of the Noritake and Kajima buildings.
